Ready to build your leadership skills? Join the GCBS Volunteer Corps Leadership Training Program!
Apply to the GCBS Volunteer Corps Leadership Training Program by emailing us at GCBSvolunteer@gmail.com or completing the form at the bottom of this page. Please submit your name, email & phone number, along with a brief introduction telling us about yourself and why you would like to become a Volunteer Corps Leader. You must be 18 years or older. Mr. John Cronin, 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors, will contact you shortly after you send us this information.

The Garden City Bird Sanctuary, Inc. is looking for Volunteer Corps Members to help maintain the property and to ensure the GCBS is accessible during the 'open season' (from the end of April through September, weekends only, 10 am–6 pm). Looks great on a resume or college application, and you belong to a great group of people helping to make our community and world a better place! Apply by emailing us at GCBSvolunteer@gmail.com or completing the form at the bottom of this page.
We celebrate our volunteers in August with Validation Day—a picnic with food, drinks, and games provided by the GCBS. In January, we honor several volunteers from the previous season with a Volunteer of the Year award.

Starting on June 3rd, please join us for Gardening Tuesdays from 10 AM–12 PM. All gardeners, beginning and experienced, are welcome! For more info, email jreinhardgc@gmail.com.

If so, email us at gcbirdsanctuary@gmail.com. We accommodate groups even during our 'off season' — corporate workdays, youth organizations, Scout groups, and more!
If you're interested in one of our volunteer opportunities, start by filling out the form.
