On July 29th, 2025, back by popular demand, we had our 2nd Moth Night!

On July 26th, 2025, we celebrated 30 years of the GCBS!

On June 3rd, 2025, we held our first ever Moth Night!

On May 10th, 2025, we participated in the Global Big Day bird count. We also collected donations of native plants and gardening tools.

On May 3rd, 2025, we had our 17th annual Community Yard Sale and official opening for our 30th year.

On March 15th, 2025, we had our Spring Volunteer Day to help us get ready to open for our 30th year.

On February 15th and 16th, 2025, we participated in the Great Backyard Bird Count global event.

On January 11th, 2025, we kicked off our 30th anniversary celebrations with our 17th annual Winterfest. Congratulations to the Volunteers of the Year for 2024!

We held the 2nd annual Long Island Underachievers Run in 2019 — a 0.5K fun run/walk.

We held the first ever Long Island Underachievers Run in 2018 — a 0.5K fun run/walk.
